Hello Everyone,
I want to start off by saying, PLEASE DON'T KILL ME. I KNOW I HAVEN'T REALLY BEEN POSTING ANYTHING BUT I JUST HAVE A LIFE TO LIVE AND SO MUCH WORK.....SO MUCH WORK.IT'S HONESTLY PATHETICALLY SAD. So now that my rant is over, I just want to talk to y'all about a little band, just a little band called 5SOS-(expansion) 5 Seconds of Summer. Yes, I know they're not a small band anymore...crying...but they are great and unfortunately so very busy these days.
Recently, if you haven't heard, fans have been getting aggressive with the boys and are getting wayyy too desperate to meet them. Now I just want to point out a similar incident from a while ago, anybody remember 1D, yeah and what happened to them, they got reclusive and pissed. The goal is to not let that happen to 5SOS. They're good lads, possibly lot more immature and younger, I mean if y'all haven't realized, Luke is like dateable age, like I can actually date him and it wouldn't be illegal or weird. Ok yeah, I mean he smokes and stuff and I'm pretty sure the other boys might as well, for sure Calum, but like overall, they seem like a pretty good bunch of guys. They're genuine and funny and loyal, but that attitude might change as more people continue to hound them. Guys give them space, let them live their lives, they deserve breaks so stop pushing them to make new albums or new tours.
So, change of topic there, concerts. How many of y'all have been to a 5SOS concert? Well, if you have then, damn are they good live. The feeling is honestly incomparable, it's absolutely amazing and exhilarating. Take the most adrenaline pumping ride you've been on, and then multiply it by like a billion and one girls and decibels of sound. Furthermore, let's discuss Michael Gordon Clifford. That man is a beast on the guitar, like at the concert I went to, they attached a go pro onto the beginning of the guitar frets like by the tippy top and then he did this amazing solo and I died. Like right now I'm writing from the Fields of Elyism, God allowed me to bring with me a laptop. HAHA lol, I'm kidding, I'm actually alive. And can we honestly discuss his hair like damn boy, you gon lose your hair pretty soon with all that coloring even though it looks so so fine and I appreciate it so so much.
I should really be doing homework as we speak right now, but sooo lazy and I just had a burst of inspiration to write a blog post so yeah, this is all for you guys. I swear if I fail math, I'm gonna blame it all on you, just be like the blogosphere is sooo addicting, it's like a siren.
****If you hear me keep making Greek references, just know that I'm kind of a Greek Geek****
With all that being said, I just wanna point out that I'm so so so in love with 5SOS and I care very strongly for their well being and happiness. I'm a Michael girl all the way and forever will be. So, if y'all have any rants about 5SOS, you wanna talk about, I'm here for you babe. Well, that's it for now and I'm gonna lie and say, I'm gonna post regularly but who am I kidding. I'll post whenever I feel like it and hopefully that'll be soon cause I already am obsessed with something new, so you don't have to wait forever.

Sorrynotsorry
What a long time it has been since I last posted anything for the matter of fact, I think it has been more than a year and honestly I am kinda ashamed of myself. But when u have a perfectly good couch and a screaming TV calling your name it's hard to devote your time to anything else. Basically I mean doing real work, not watching TV, getting up to use the restroom, or going to the kitchen to get food. In all honesty this summer I have been prepping myself for the bum....bum...bum SAT's and many of y'all reading know that this test is the freaking devil. I mean no one wants to memorize like 2000 words and on top of that no one wants to learn grammar for 8 weeks straight. U fortunately for me, I was put into a summer program called Elite, and basically we would take a SAT on Monday, and review parts of the test the rest of the week. Ugh am I glad that has ended, the torture has finally ended cept' it hasn't. School starts in another 2 days and I still haven't finished my AP homework which is East of Eden and Lincoln's Second Inaugural. Anyways if ur like me don't fret cause next week is labor day and we have a day off so yeah..... yeah....... party....... idk what i'm doing with my life :).

Soo, after watching all these YouTube videos, I started to dream of having my own videos. Love is in the air
Long time no see eh, well i'm sorry about that. I'm the stupidest person ever. Happy? Good! So as y'all know, it's that time of the year again.....VALENTINES DAY!!!!YAY!! If you're like me, and you don't have a valentine read on. If you do have a valentine, read anyways, but know that i despise you. JK, I LOVE U...see what I did there.:) <3
So for this valentines day, I could plan on doing absolutely nothing and moping around eating chocolates all day, or I could make something happen. I'm definitely not picking the latter. Actually I'm quite busy on valentines day because I have a singing competition to attend, but if I was at home, I would do all of the following:
1. Buy yourself some chocolate....I personally love myself some See's Candies, Russel Stover, and Godiva. (I have an unhealthy obsession with chocolate...shhh nobody knows, so don't tell anybody).
2.Find yourself some cheesy movies like Love Actually, The Notebook, The Lucky One, The Vow(well basically any Nicholas Sparks movies will do).
3.Right when you start feeling sorry for yourself dig up some old wine if your of legal age, or just drink hot chocolate or tea or coffee(whatever your preference is really).
4. Look at pictures of friends that have a valentines and cry...not really productive is it but who cares it;s only for one day.
Now for the people that want to go out there and make something happen, I have a list for you too:
1. Buy chocolate for others and give them out just for the sake of valentines day. You would wanna be loved, right...so love others so they can love you back.
2. Gather up a group of your friends and throw a party or something, you don't need to be alone, when you have your closest friends telling you how much you and your party rock. And to be on the positive side, valentines day is this FRIDAY meaning you can stay UP ALL NIGHT AND JUMP AROUND UNTIL YOU SEE THE SUN.(Sorry for that but I had to...It was calling me).
3. Go onto omegle, if you have one. People around the world will be on omegle looking for an internet date, and you never know who you'll meet on there. WINK;) ;). If you know who ThatcherJoe is from youtube, you'll know what I'm talking about. If you don't here's a link down below:
4. Make a child happy by doing something for them... something like donating to one of the charities online or just making cards and going to your local foster home or some'n. Here are some links to wonderful societies that donate to good causes:
These three charities I believe are really good, because I've personally heard a lot about free rice and your not paying a cent while playing these games. The games help you learn and the rice you earn gets sent to a certain region in the world that is in deep poverty and starvation state.
LUSH donates to many charities around the world and the best part, their charity pot sales are 100% donated to their charities. So your essentially buying these skincare products which benefits you, and the money, which benefits their charities.
The last one is a cancer, leukemia, HIV/AIDS foundation that is located somewhere near Arcadia,CA and there are many different ways to donate to that as well. On their page it goes into detail about how you can help raise awareness and help the cause.
So that's it my stallions, I'm now leaping off into the sunset adorned by white fluffy marshmellowy clouds. I'll see you sometime soon with a new update on how my show went on friday.
Bye,
Love Priya

12/29/13 Mall Day
So today, I went to the Westfield Mall in Santa Anita with my buddies later in the evening round 5:00. If you haven't been to this mall, you are missing out on a lot. This mall is mainly used by people living in Arcadia, Pasadena(cause Pasadena has higher end shops), Monrovia, San Marino, and any place near those. The mall has a promenade with higher end shops, and inside the mall is a mixture of high end and common shops. Some shops would include Forever 21, H&M, Mac, Sephora, Lush, JC Penny, Nordstroms, etc... OMG I was like so excited when the mall opened their Mac store, cause now, I can ogle the products and gush about them to my friends. Guys, if I had like 100 bucks, I would go to the Mac store and buy everything I can for that much money. The Sephora is also really nice cause it's really big and usually well stocked with new products. If you don't like the big crowd in Sephora, you can go to the smaller one inside JC Penny. The LUSH store is absolutely amazing as well, and the store people are so friendly and nice. The other day, I didn't have enough money to buy the Mint Juleps lip balm thingy, so I asked for a sample, and they gave me soo much. People have been raving about LUSH and I agree with them. The shop is amazingly smelling and all the products work so well and the best part, it's all natural.
While I was roaming around, I decided to buy my brother some pants and bought some sweatpants like pants with a drawstring. I bought one in gray, faded blue, and faded purplish blue. I bought the pants from Cotton On Kids.
And for myself, I bought this top from Forever 21. It's a really pretty pale yellow flowy top, with a cutout white collar. It's pretty see through so ya'll have to wear it with a tank top or something. This top would be really cute with a white skirt or a high-low skirt.
$16.99 + Tax = $18.52
(The rest of the shirt looks like this)
(This is the collar)
I also bought some bath bombs from LUSH.
(This is the Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb)
I will do a separate review on both the bath bombs that I bought in another post.
Firstly, I'll just say that this bath bomb smells like the LUSH store and it is quite strong but hopefully it'll simmer down in the bath. It claims to leave you feeling refreshed and calm so we'll see what happens there.

(The Ickle Bot Bath Bomb)
This bath bomb is meant for putting kids to sleep at night because it has the scents of lavender and chamomile. I'll do a review on this one as well. This one has a faint smell, but it smells like a refreshing aroma therapy oil.
That is all for today, but don't fret, I'll be back tomorrow with a whole new post for ya'll.
Buhbye,
Priya

12/28/13 Fun Day
Today was a really chill day 'cause I woke up at 12:00 in the morning and that's practically half a day you know. I got yelled at like 80 times cause apparently we were supposed to go somewhere really special and that I was making everyone late. Finally I hopped into the shower and made myself presentable in formal Indian attire. I was wearing a REALLY baggy trouser type pants(kinda like M.C. Hammer pants, but not really) with little purple flowers on them and a really long green top with magenta flowers on them. If you really wanna know, what it looked like, I'll post a link down below. (Keep in mind, that this isn't what my outfit actually looks like, but it's the same style.)
(It looks like that except my top is longer ant the colors are different)
So anyways, after changing I had my hair in a fishtail, and for my makeup, I wore the Rimmel Scandal Eyeshadow in Bad Girl Bronze, and on top, the foresty green shadow from the Elf Beach Beauty Palette. I used the Maybelline BIG Great Lash Mascara and I opted for the Rimmel Stay Matte powder on my t-zone.
We then left for the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Chino Hills which took like 45 minutes and I have to say, I thought that this would be boring, bu the temple was gorgeous. The architecture was absolutely amazing and the inside was even better.
(The inside was completely made out of marble and the details are so intricate)
I wasn't expecting much out of this temple, but it really did the Indian temples proud. The inside is completely illuminated by light reflecting off of white crystalline marble, and each pillar is so intricately carved, you could stare at it for ages. There are two domes and on the inside of each dome, there are like a trillion god like statues representing each value (ie. harmony, non-violence....). This is truly a place to visit if you live near Chino Hills in California.
Anyways, that's it for today, I'll see you tomorrow with a new place to visit.
Buhbye,
Priya

Summer
Since this is my first blog post, I decided I'd do a "What did I do over the summer?" post. I know what ya'll are thinking, Why would she do a summer post during the winter ? Well, in my tradition we don't really celebrate Christmas and all, but we still have a tree and stuff. Instead of receiving presents we give presents to others. Well so without further ado, my summer:
Amber Fort
It was raining during the time, my family and I went to this place and I got completely soaked. You should have seen the courtyard, it was like a huge puddle and everywhere you went, you would step into a huge water hole. In spite of the rain, we managed to have so much fun and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking due to the rain. The rain made the surrounding hills, look like pillows of cotton and the atmosphere was just perfect. Although we got soaked in the rain, we still had fun.
This is the view from the terrace of the fort. I love how real and authentic the buildings look and how they complement the scenery as well.
So this is a bit of a joke. LOL!! So apparently in the old times, the kings and queens used to be cannibals and ate human beings. This is the pot that they cooked the human beings in and at the place they also had a masher that they crushed the humans with. It's really gross. I know.
So anyways that is just a part of my lovely trip in India with my family and friends. I will be updating my blog every day (hopefully, sorry if i don't cause of school and homework) and ther's more to come.
BUhbye,
Priya
